Chocolate Chip Meringue Surprises

  • 2 Egg Whites
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1/8 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Chocolate Bits

Combine egg whites, vanilla, and salt. Beat until stiff but not dry. Beat in sugar until stiff and satiny. Fold in chocolate bits. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 300 degrees–25-30 minutes, until firm and delicately brown.
